One of the world’s largest fresh water Volcano Lakes – LAKE TAUPO –
Onboard the luxury cruise launch M.V. Solamarr. Trout Fishing, Fly
Fishing, Jig Fishing, Down Rigger Fishing. The crew will Smoke, Bake
or Sashimi your catch. You can Skeet Shoot or just enjoy the
tranquility with views of waterfalls, snow capped mountains,
volcanic rock and cliff formations, Maori Carvings and Native Bush
and wildlife. Anglers can expect to be challenged by the fight of
the Rainbow and the cunning of the big 'Brownie' and be surprised by
the size of trout caught in the 'Great Lake' Taupo and its
tributaries. The average weight range of trout caught is between 4
lb and 6 lb and much bigger fish of over 10 lb are not uncommon.

sunrise every day! Here lies 16,000 acres, of Safari Ranch that
offers you
a variety of options. Trophy Red Stag and Fallow Deer are hunted in
native
bush (Other big game available). Wild goats, rams, turkeys, ducks
and small
game are hunted over acres of rolling farmland, hills and valleys.
The wild
turkeys are scattered all over this vast property and there is not a
season
or limit but you will see more turkeys in one day than you will in
one year
anywhere else! After a day of hunting, rest a bit, enjoy a nice
dinner then
you can go spotlighting for small game like Rabbit, Hare and New
Zealand
Opossum. Two rivers on the ranch provide magnificent wilderness
trout fishing or deep
water fishing only 30 minutes drive from the ranch. Stay in a
handcrafted
wilderness bush camp (hot & cold running water & flush toilets).
